Officer elections were held at last Thursday’s meeting.
Congratulations to our new officers: Riley Dunn, KC0KTP – President,
Nathan Roush – Vice President, and Scott Durham, KC0QIL – Treasurer
Scholarships:
The application for the Foundation for Amateur Radio scholarship is
due March 31st. This is actually 27 different scholarships with one
application. More can be found at: http://www.amateurradio-far.org/
There are several upcoming public service events:
April 17th – Metro MS Walk (South part of Overland Park. Contact:

April 18th – Kansas Marathon from about 7:30am to about 2:00pm.

suggest signing up for Larry’s List. This is an email list with hams

EXPO:
The club has been invited to have a display for Engineering Expo.
Engineering Expo is this Friday from 9am to 3pm and Saturday 9am to
12pm. Setup is around 7pm Thursday night. Friday is probably the
most important to have people there, as this is the day when most
elementary, middle and high school students come to the event. Please
email me with the times that you’re available so we can setup a
schedule. Last year there were T-Shirts for people who helped.

North American QSO Party, RTTY – 12pm Feb 27th to 12am Feb 28th
ARRL International DX Contest, SSB – 6pm Mar 6th to 6pm Mar 7th
Testing:
There will be a test session February 25th at 6pm in 3150 Learned
Hall.
