...For Radio Contests!
The results are in from Field Day. K0KU had 1,082 QSOs with a score
of 4,164 points. This placed us 4th in our category of 3E (3
transmitters using emergency power). This is a result to be proud of!
The ARRL November Sweep Stakes Phone contest is the third weekend in
November. This is the 21st and 22nd. The contest begins at 3pm
Saturday and runs until 9pm Sunday. We are only allowed to operate 24
of the 30 hours. This contest is unique be because it is the only one
with a school club category. This means we will be competing against
other universities. Only current students, faculty and staff are
allowed to operate the school club category. This contest promises to
be a lot of fun. Please make plans to attend!
