Hi Kyle,

This looks like possibly one of the old world bluestems (Bothriochloa bladhii, or KR - Bothriochloa ischaemum), or maybe even the native silver bluestem (Bothriochloa laguroides). Either way, it's a perennial rhizomatous grass. The only way to eliminate this from flower bed like you describe is to physically remove it. Careful spot treatment is an option if they can avoid hitting the desirable plants.

Can you help me ID this weed? This weed keep coming up through flowerbeds, the flowers are Hostas and Iris. How do you kill it without killing the flowers? I appreciate your help on this. Have a Great Day!
