New issue 6527 by parkside...@gmail.com: certificate error "check your
server settings" since update to v5.000
https://code.google.com/p/k9mail/issues/detail?id=6527

Since the latest update to V5.000 my Samsung S5 running Android 4.4.2
My K9 Mail keeps reporting the error, certificate error "check your server
settings" in the notification window for all my mail accounts.

The only way I can stop this is to change the Security field to "None"
Rather than normally I have it set to "SSL/TLS"

The fault is also replicated on my Dad's Identical Samsung S5

I'm also having the same problem. Makes k9 unusable. I'm attaching a log
snippet showing a related stack trace.

Me too! Same problem with godaddy accounts. Before updating to new version
all works fine.
After updating k9-mail is becoming the most frustrating app ever used!
Disinstalled from my samsung note 3 and wrote my worst comment in google
play store.
It's incredible how a critical bug like this, at now, haven't been fixed.
Unseriously.

The "SSL3_GET_RECORD:wrong version number" text in the log provided in
comment #2 indicates that this is a duplicate of issue #6505.
