We really need an option to forward an email, and alternately allow as
forward as attachment, which forwards as .eml files and also knows how to
read /handle such files.

This option is also useful for spam filtering engines. This option is a
requirement
for learning servers that accept inbound at sp...@domain.com or
spam...@domain.com
if you happen to have this setup with dspam or other MTA

SpamAssassin is sending suspicious (and sometimes false positive) mails as
attachement. Could be great to read these attachments (hey, that's really
not so difficult to implement, k9 is already able to read email, right?)

It would also be nice if the forward as attachments were enabled as a batch
operation. I frequently have to forward several emails to to the same
address, and batch forwarding would save a ton of time.

There are various user scenarios where forward-as-attachment
(message/rfc822) is desirable to preserve the original structure, etc. For
example,submitting messages to SpamCop. Or to avoid HTML from being
mangled. Since sending attachments is already supported, the incremental
work to implement this feature should be pretty trivial...

Now may be a good time to re-visit the idea of implementing this feature.
K9 has matured considerably since forward-as-attachment was first
suggested, and lack of a basic capability such as this which can be found
in most other email software contrasts sharply against the backdrop of
other K9 advances.

Another +1 for forward as attachment in K-9 mail please. I need it for
forwarding tickets into our support system so someone else can pick it up
when I'm away from home.
