I just installed the current 4.330 coming from 4.200.

When I'm in my inbox and select one or more messages I get a bunch of buttons on the bottom of the screen:
Delete, Togggle Read State, Archive, Move, Flag important and a combined button for Copy, Spam and Select all.

Is there a way to customize, which buttons are displayed on this situation?
I slightly remember having a similar option in 4.200.

Background is that use K9 with IMAP just to peek in my inbox or sometimes reply but not for organizational tasks, means that I never ever want to delete, move or archive a message because I later want retrieve all messages to my Desktop PC (which needs them to stay in my inbox). To avoid deleting or moving a message by fault it would be good beeing able to hide all buttons that mess around with the mails.

I would also like to request this functionality. I typically use my k9 to combat spam throughout the day, so I'm usually selecting messages, then having to hit the 'more' button to mark as spam. This would be nice to have as a button (since I don't archive that button is useless to me, for example)

Another way this can be useful: in reading long e-mails, in horizontal mode, the menu buttons take a lot of the usable screen. Having no buttons at all would, IMHO, be a great way to save screen real state :) This is particularly important in horizontal mode, so having an optional viewmode for each function would be best. Menu in vertical for fast sipping, no menu in horizontal for long reading.

If you click on the three vertical dots to the right of the current email action buttons displayed, and look at the bottom, you see an option to switch to the new (short) or old (traditional longer) toolbar. The old one includes the archive and label buttons, the new one does not.

Thanks for explaining this. Such seemingly random UI changes can be confusing!
