Problem with attached file size

Hello. I have the next problem with K9-mail for Android: when i sent a message with attached files 6mb and more, i have an error(Negative SMTP reply: 523 Message lenght). When i sent with PC mail client, i have no problems. May be it is Android OS limits?

My phone is Xperia Z

Android 4.4.4.

Firmware 10.5.1.A.0.292

K9-mail the last version.

Can you help me with it?

That error message looks like something from the mail transport
level (receiving mail server) rather than device-specific.

Do you have the same "outgoing mail server" configured for your pc's
mail client and in K9? Were you sending to the same recipient(s) in
both cases (including an address that you may bcc on mail sent from
your android device)? If either of these was different that could
account for the rejection in the one case and not the other.
