Cannot install k9 on new Samsung Note 9

On my brand new Samsung Note 9 I cannot install k9. What can I do?

Which ever way I try google playstore doesn't complete installation.

I also tried k9-apk-files that I saved from f-droid locally (version 5.600) - but that also didn't work (I granted the file manager to install apk-files from unknown sources).

I'm rather desparate since I need k9 for my daily E-Mail-communication.

I found the solution already - when synchonizing my device google playstore also installed k-9-mail-widget which I tried on some other device. Upon uninstalling this app, I was able to successfully install k-9. phew :-)
