trace of deleted messages

Hello,

When I synchronize an email-account with K9-mail on an Android device, all the new messages are sent to

the Android device. Then I remove locally some messages from Andoid and I re synchronize. The deleted

messages are not resent, so its means that somewhere Android keeps track of the deleted messages.

I would glad if someone can tell me how.
