Any news on a new version that fixes the filename encoding?

The current release 5.600 has this flaw with wrong encoding of filenames which makes it hard to deal with received attachments.

I read in the bug tracker that this is fixed in 5.8xx but this was long time ago.

Any news when 5.8xx will come out?

An update on the progress would be nice.
