New Tester - How Do I Update Version When Next One Is Available ?

Hello,
I am new to K-9 and wish to test the latest version from GitHub on my smartphone.
When the next version is made available how do I update the version I have.
Do I just download the newest APK and install?
Or do I have to uninstall the version I would have been using and do a clean install of the newest version?
