repeat post - lightburn alternatives?

Hi everyone -

I posted this before but didn't hear back from anyone. 

Are there alternatives to Lightburn to use with our omtech laser cutter?

We're not finding the interface to be super-intuitive and would love to be able to teach it to our MS/HS Design community. Plus licenses are a bit pricey for us to use with our students.
