Hello everyone. Can anyone recommend a full size CNC machine with Mac compatible software? Thanks!

We use a Forest Scientific CNC router which I have had very few issues with.   The bed is 4ft by 8ft.   It seems their website is currently down so I can't link to my model.   If you purchase one I would NOT recommend buying one with a vacuum table to assist with keeping the material stable.   We ended up drilling and clamping our material down anyways....and just stopped using it, so you can save a thousand dollars there.

We also have an Automatic Tool changer to switch between bits, so if that is something you are interested in your facilities department will have to run compressed air to the router (or you can use a compressor like we did).

To my knowledge the software to run the CNC is not Mac compatible, and I think you might have trouble finding one that it is.   We use Vectric Aspire to design in (which is also not Mac compatible) but I am sure you can find Mac-based design software (i.e. AutoCAD Fusion).

Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Not sure what you mean by full-size, but I’d look into Carbide 3d Shapeoko.  They go up to 4ft x 4ft.  They are Mac compatible and their software is quite easy to learn.
