I have been inundated recently with social media ads for a new product called the Spiker:bit, which is a micro:bit board that supports their human body sensors like muscle (EMG), heart rate, and basic brain wave patterns (EEG), as well as output some servo ports.

It got me curious - has anyone in this group experimented with any human body sensors like these with a microcontroller? Would love recommendations on specific sensor products you found working well enough for you.

My 8th grade students do an adaptive product project for a disability, and having human body sensor inputs would really open up some interesting and exciting possibilities.

Thanks!
