Can a Full spectrum Hobby Laser be used with a Mac?

I just found out from Full Spectrum that they are working on a Mac version of RetinaEngrave and hope to be in beta in a few months (or sooner.)

While a Mac version would be extremely welcome here, my students and I have been able to get by doing all the creative work on the mac, then sending the files to the connected windows machine for printing. I installed InkScape on the PC, which opens just about anything. The one thing for me is just making sure that in Illustrator I create outlines of all text so that font type becomes irrelevant.

Very glad to hear that Mac-native is coming.... I am using it with Parallels and it works fine, but would be glad to move away from having to boot up to the windows side and slowing down my machine every time I want to print.
