Skill Arc

Hello Everyone,

As way of reintroducing myself (I've been on this list as a Director at Maker Nexus and have recently moved to Helios as their iLab coordinator), I'd like to ask if anyone has a template for a grade-level skill arc. I'm now teaching K-8 and working with the younger grades is new for me. My first order is to set up a grade-specific arc of skills and competencies that can be used to guide lessons and projects through the school year. 

Thanks for any suggestions and I look forward to participating in this group in my new teaching capacity.

Congratulations on the new position! We have a good range of architecture, engineering and STEM challenges for lower grades using cardboard modeling and assorted no/low tech materials. If you are interested in seeing some of the materials we have, you can find basic design challenges as well as standards-aligned lesson plans here. happy to walk you through some of the materials if you like.
