Who are we?
Ethical Culture Fieldston School is a progressive PreK-12 independent school that has been serving students from throughout New York City and the surrounding suburbs since 1878. ECFS offers a rich curriculum in the arts, sciences, and humanities. A co-ed, nonsectarian school, it serves a diverse community of about 1,700 students on two campuses -- one in the Riverdale section of the Bronx and the other in Manhattan. Ethical Culture School, located on the Upper West Side at 63rd Street and Central Park West, is comprised of approximately 450 students Pre-K through 5th Grade and 80 faculty members.
The Ethics & Technology Coordinator is a member of the ECFS technology team and reports to the Director of Technology. Working within the assigned division(s), the Ethics & Technology Coordinator supports divisional priorities, ensures their work is aligned with the school’s ethical mission, and works with their peers in the technology department to provide a cohesive technology learning experience for students in grades K-12. The most critical role of the Ethics & Technology Coordinator is to help the school community apply everyday ethics to online environments. The Coordinator is an 11-month position starting August 1, 2022
