Hi folks,
You don't have to be a coder to apply. You just have to be curious.
CC Fest Coding Camp is a free, five-week virtual program for educators who want to bring creative coding into their teaching — whether you've never written a line of code before, or you've dabbled with Scratch and wonder what's next.
Each Saturday, from April 11 through May 16, we'll meet for two hours to learn p5.js — a creative coding tool built for artists, educators, and anyone who believes that making things is a powerful way to learn. You'll draw with code, animate, play with color and motion, and by the end of the program, you'll have real projects to bring back to your students.
Here's what the camp looks like: - Five Saturday sessions, 9–11 am PT / 12–2 pm ET
- Live instruction, hands-on coding, and time to ask questions
- Guest artists and educators from the creative coding world
- A small, supportive cohort of teachers learning alongside you
- Recordings and recaps available for every session
- 100% free, always
Past participants have come from public school in Brooklyn and Buenos Aires, afterschool program in rural Florida, elementary classroom in Portugal, and other places in between. What they share isn't a coding background — it's a belief that using code can open up creativity.
If that resonates with you, I'd love to have you.
