X-Carve questions

Hi all!

One of our teachers began using an X-Carve last year to cut carbon fiber.  The room he used it in is being claimed for another purpose, and now our facilities team wants more details about the best place to use this machine in terms of safety, especially since he is cutting carbon fiber.  Do you use the X-Carve?  If so, where do you use it?  Do you have an external ventilation system? Thanks for any input/advice!

I'd just be concerned about carbon dust as dust. The stuff I found in the MSDS lists and based on people who cut carbon fiber in the bike trades seems to suggest it's not really any more harmful than sawdust. That being said I would try to avoid inhaling it.
