Would anyone be interested in taking a survey and contributing good and bad experiences you've had with your 3D printer(s)?
I am a technology coordinator at a public K-8 school district in California. I'm interested in collecting feedback from real-world middle- and high-school users of 3D printers that come recommended by various websites and magazines, and also finding out what you think are the most important criteria when selecting a 3D printer to use in a school setting.
Please give it a look and if you feel inclined, submit a response. I'll compile and summarize the responses in a couple of days and post it back to the group. Note: I gathered the data on some "highly rated" pre-assembled 3D printers (but these ratings come from magazines, not from educators) and put them in a spreadsheet for comparison purposes. So far, the only responses I've gotten are about Makerbots. I'd love to collect some feedback on other makes and models.
