virtual CC Fest is back on October 17, 2026

[Saber Khan]

Hi folks,

I am excited to share the new CC Fest site, https://ccfest.rocks, and the next event, virtual CC Fest on Saturday, October 17, 2026. It will be the 10th anniversary of CC Fest and I hope you can make it.

Lauren Lee McCarthy and Dan Shiffman will be doing the keynotes and there will be a large number of workshops to pick from, more details to come. And this time we are doing a panel discussion as well. Registration is open now https://ccfest.rocks/register/. You are encouraged to donate to cover costs, Zoom Events license and speaker honorariums, but the event is still free. The site was redesigned by two people who I met thru CC Fest, Francisca Jose Rodrigues and Shristi Singh.

Hi folks,

One last promotion.

Want to make something with code? #VirtualCCFest is Saturday, October 17, and it is free.

Pick from 13 workshops: build a portfolio site, 3D print from code, livecode music in Scratch, try The Nature of Code in Python, or join our first session in Spanish. Keynotes from Lauren Lee McCarthy and Dan Shiffman, and our first panel, on teaching creativity today. All levels, online, 9:00 am-12:30 pm PT / 12:00-3:30 pm ET.

It is also the 10th anniversary. CC Fest started in 2016 in New York-ITP with 40 people.

Register:  https://ccfest.rocks/register/

CC Fest is free. If you can, a donation helps cover the Zoom Events license and speaker honorariums.
