As an original FabLab@School, Castilleja School in Palo Alto is hiring a part-time Robotics Coach for Gatorbotics Team 1700, its all-girls FIRST Robotics Competition team. Gatorbotics team members engage with engineering and programming in a highly-collaborative, student-driven after-school learning environment where they develop technical and creative problem-solving skills as they work together to design and build a robot for local, regional, and national competitions. The Robotics Coach is part of a larger coaching and mentoring team that has been supporting the students all season.

The Robotics Coach works ~15 hours a week, evenings and select Saturdays throughout the 2022 build season, through April and potentially beyond, to support all of the team’s objectives in and out of the lab. Learn more and apply now for this challenging and fun robot building experience. We’re also looking for volunteer Mentors with fabrication and mechanical engineering expertise. To become a Mentor, email gatorbo...@castilleja.org. Both great opportunities for engineering-minded people who are passionate about robotics and working with high school girls to develop the next generation of fearless technology innovators!
