Hello all,

My name is Mark Cortes, and I work as a mentor for a STEAM education vendor. I intend to learn about new ways to teach text-based programming, specifically Python. Currently, our preferred website, Trinket.io, is closing down this summer (2026). I found it helped students jump into programming easily. It provided a simple and neat way for us to create lessons. Once the students were done with the classes, they had a portfolio they could display, much like Scratch. I was wondering what alternative websites or applications could facilitate a similar or improved learning environment. I appreciate any input or advice. Thank you for your time!
