Technology Student Association (TSA) club

Does anyone on the list have a TSA chapter in their school? A high schooler lobbied me to start a chapter and advise the club, but now that we're started the student and I and club members are pretty lost as to what the club actually does. The national org provides general guidelines for dozens of yearly events similar in topics to Science Olympiad, and an end of June national conference where you can compete. But there is no active NY state org and the national org is unresponsive when I've asked for more guidance.
