Hi everyone,
If you are interested in getting into more coding and look for a summer PD option then you might be interested in Infosys Foundation's Summer Pathfinder's Institute. They re hosting a number of week-long workshop at Indiana University in Bloomington. I will be leading one with Esther Hersh of Pelblio on p5.js, which is a great option for text-based coding following Scratch. Here is more info:

Peblio is an instructional tool and lesson sharing platform that makes it easier for teachers to teach programming. We're partnering with the Processing foundation to teach An Introduction to Creative Coding with P5.js at this year's Pathfinders Summer Institute in Bloomington Indiana from July 14-19. The week long workshop will be taught by Peblio founder, Esther Hersh, and Processing Education Community Director, Saber Khan. Learning p5.js is a great way to get started with programming in Javascript and build creative programs on the web. Check out some project examples on Peblio and check out this video to learn more. Applications are due by May 7. Infosys covers half of the cost and helps you raise the rest so apply soon and we can't wait to see you there!
