Fab Lab Coordinator
Become a part of THE Intermediate Unit 1’s exciting initiative. A Fabrication Lab (Fab Lab) is an advanced digital fabrication suite of computer-controlled manufacturing machines. The successful candidate will become part of a world wide Fab Networking Team and will assist with the coordination of activities in the Fab Lab on a day-to-day basis, and mentor students, teachers, and the community through their ideas and projects (www.iu1.org/fablab).
Bachelor’s Degree in Technology Education, Computer Science, or related area. Master's Degree and PA Teaching Certification is preferred. Knowledge in CNC Machines, 3D Printers, electronics and circuits, wood and/or metal experience, etc. This is a full-time, 12-month position. Salary starts at approximately $48,000.
