Hi all -  I'm really proud to announce a new book from Constructing Modern Knowledge Press - The Learner’s Apprentice: AI and the Amplification of Human Creativity.

Education and AI expert Ken Kahn introduces a fresh perspective of using generative Artificial Intelligence, known as chatbots, to co-create educationally rich experiences and interactive software. Kahn shows how teachers can guide students—from elementary school to college—through the process of creating powerful software applications (without learning to code), illustrated stories, conversations with notable figures, interactive games and adventures, mathematical models and sims, augmented reality, mobile apps, and more.

Just like my book, Invent to Learn: Making, Tinkering, and Engineering the ClassroomThe Learner's Apprentice shares a vision of education where the learner is empowered to make sense of their world by making and doing. We do students a disservice by banning new tools, rather, we can explore them together and create experiences and artifacts that support curricular goals in any subject. The examples in The Learner's Apprentice will help any teacher answer the question of how AI can support learning—creatively, safely, ethically, and constructively.

I hope you take a look at this book and share it with colleagues. Thanks for all you do!

Colleagues, tell me, has anyone really used AI tools to create branding? Now I see a bunch of offers - logos, colors, even texts based on AI. I wonder if there is any real benefit from this or is it just hype?
