Dear maker educators,
I wanted to share an upcoming opportunity to join a new experiment in creating more pathways for open, interactive and playful virtual hands-on tinkering!
I've been collaborating with Josh Gutwill and Sue Allen of the Clean Conferencing Institute and Emma Callow of Maker Parties to design ways to use the SpatialChat platform (a virtual workshop space where you can move around and connect more naturally with other participants) for maker education workshops.
If you're a curious, we hope you can join us for the upcoming tinkering session that will take place Saturday, December 6th:
9:00-10:30am on the west coast
12:00-1:30pm eastern time
4:00-5:30pm in the UK
5:00-6:30pm in Europe
We'll try out several different hands-on projects where you can discover possibilities for open ended tinkering activities, test new ways of being together in a virtual space, build in moments to reflect and take time to network with a global community of making and tinkering educators. It should be a lot of fun.
