Check out our growing collection of Maker project tutorials!
We are the K-12 Maker Lab at the MIT Edgerton Center – a small group of passionate makers with lots of experience in classroom teaching, teacher PD, and creative technologies.
Our goal is that students are engaged in learning, fluent in creative technologies, and empowered to create their future.
We create projects that can be self-driven by students, and where the teachers do not need to become experts on Maker tools. That is, the teachers are responsible for integrating content and providing resources, and students are responsible for the “making” by learning on their own from tutorials and classmates.
We’d love to hear what you think of these projects, and if you have suggestions for new ones. Reach out to Diane Brancazio and Justin Schmidt at k12m...@mit.edu
