Hi everyone
Lots of trial and error here. We followed a lot of advice from the backyard rollercoaster scene on youtube, added electric skateboard hub motors, controlled via IR remote by a teacher running or skating alongside the cart, and had a blast. 300 feet of track. I'm going to write up a project guide in the fall, I'll post it here. Here's a quick video:
