I'm considering adding a smaller more portable fabrication tool to my mobile makerspace
I'm wondering if anyone has experience or opinion about either the Glowforge Aura or the Xtool m1.
Currently I use a GlowForge in my makerspace, but its not always possible or practical to move it, especially if I have need for a laser cutter for a 'small part' of a project, workshop.
I'm curious if the Xtools software is user friendly? Could it become a multi-purpose fabrication tool for on location needs in a school project based learning process?
Or might the Glowforge Auro be a better choice since I know the interface will be familiar or easy to use for short purposes that does not require much front loaded learning.
The goal is NOT to replace the access to a laser cutter - but just to increase access to on location occasional needs.
Any experience anyone has with these two tools (or similar) tool would be appreciated.
