The Ravenswood City School District has 6 public school sites, each with a staffed and equipped Makerspace. We serve students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. We have weekly team professional development (where we share resources and support each other), We also get resources and support through our collaboration with Stanford and the Fablearn network, as well as the Ravenswood Education Foundation (for equipment and materials). We are a very welcoming team, and this is a job where you can change lives. In addition to working with amazing students, you get to work with amazing tools! We have vinyl cutting, sewing, micro:bits and lasercutting (glowforges and epilogs) at most of our makerspaces, and are excited to bring in new equipment based on tinkerer projects and interests.
