Hi Everyone,

I am sending this around again to spread the word about a great professional development workshop we are running in our Makerspace at Dawson School in Colorado this summer.

The workshop is targeted toward intermediate to advanced maker educators who are looking for a hands-on, collaborative workshop where participants can level up some of their skills and connect with other passionate educators.

Dawson MakerEd Jam 2026
Come spend a week dreaming, building, and collaborating with fellow maker educators in Dawson School's well-equipped Makerspace in Lafayette, Colorado.

MakerEd Jam is a hands-on, collaborative professional development designed for experienced K–12 educators, library makerspace leads, and college instructors who run or teach in their own makerspace programs. It's a chance to step out of your routine and connect with other passionate educators in a small, focused cohort.

The registration is now live and capped at 20 participants so please share with anyone you think might be interested in this type of workshop.

Please reach out if you have any questions. We would love to see you at Dawson this summer!

Yours,

Chris Supiro

Makerspace Director
