How to show to visualize a vector field?

Hi,

I want to visualize a vector field by arrows. I have found how to create tubes/cylinders.

How to define the coin end? Are there any primitives I can base on?

Actually I had expected that there are ready to use arrow shape available for visualizing vector fields.

best solution is to draw lines between points with color coded points for direction
