Indian Army Jawans engaged in relief operations during recent Sikkim earth quake

From M.V.Ramana Murthy Many times it so happens that the heroic deeds, valiant efforts , hard work of Indian army goes away unnoticed. Here is one picture . The victims of the Sikkim,s recent earth quake have to cross a temporary bridge.  This bridge was having many gaps in the floor  and a person can easily slip through the gaps while crossing over the bridge .The Indian army jawans , engaged in the relief operations slept on  the bridge floor forming safer floor and asked the  effected people to walk/ crawl on their backs, so that they can safely go over the bridge.  The minimum we can do is to remember the heroic jawans and salute them for their brave efforts to save human lives .
