just bought, build and tested this:

LCD oscilloscope kit
model: 06204KP
Bootloader: 113-06202-026
FW: 06208.102

the scope work very well, good!

I have some suggestions for a firmware update:

1) When on HOLD, it is impossible to select SEC/DIV and change the time base. This cause trouble mostly when the trigger is in SINGLE mode and signal continually cause trigger event, because it is impossible to change the timebase.

2) With the internal square wave, setting the timebase to 0.5 us, 1 us and 2 us, the trigger event time position is out (before) the memory window, i.e. moving H.POS all to the left, does not show the event, in both SLOPE settings.

3) miss a bottom indicator that show the trigger time position

4) the trigger event should be default in the middle of memory window, but as now seems it is more near the start of memory window (all to the left), often outside of shown part. So it is necessary use often H.POS to show the trigger event.

Hope in a firmware update to fix those little troubles.

thank you,
Valerio

Thank you for the suggestions. Please see comments below in blue.

1) When on HOLD, it is impossible to select SEC/DIV and change the time base. This cause trouble mostly when the trigger is in SINGLE mode and signal continually cause trigger event, because it is impossible to change the timebase.

In this situation it would be better to change trigger mode to Auto or Normal. SEC/DIV change was disabled under HOLD state to avoid misleading reading because waveform won't zoom when timebase is changed.

2) With the internal square wave, setting the timebase to 0.5 us, 1 us and 2 us, the trigger event time position is out (before) the memory window, i.e. moving H.POS all to the left, does not show the event, in both SLOPE settings.

Setting trigger mode to NORM will have the event shown. Because capture length is shorter than one signal cycle for fast timebase like 2us or smaller display becomes unstable in AUTO mode.

3) miss a bottom indicator that show the trigger time position

Yes, it would be nice to have it. This feature has been implemented in 082 and 094. 062 has a fixed trigger position (1/4 of buffer) so we thought it is not that important to have the indicator.

4) the trigger event should be default in the middle of memory window, but as now seems it is more near the start of memory window (all to the left), often outside of shown part. So it is necessary use often H.POS to show the trigger event.

Currently the trigger position was fixed at 1/4 memory buffer.
