JY National Conference and DTP Announcement

Dear family,

Praise God!

On behalf of the NT,It is with immense  joy that I am sharing with each of you the wonderful news about the JY National Conference and the DTPs that has been discerned and scheduled for the month of August 2014.After much prayer, discernment and guidance of George Devassy, we we gathered on Tuesday Jan 7th to select the Teams, Coordinators and Asst.Coordinators for the National Conference.

Please take a note of the following

 1. August 15^th (evening) to August 17^th (noon): JYC National Conference in Toronto

2. August 17^th (noon) to August 18^th (evening): Leaders Gathering, Leaders Training, NT and NYT Reconstitution  Toronto.

3.August 19^th to August 24^th: DTP in Toronto

4.August 23^rd to August 24^th: Training/Follow up for EX DTP participants in Toronto

5.August 26^th to August 31^st: DTP in Calgary   

 JY CANADA NATIONAL CONFERENCE TEAM-2014.

General Coordination:

General Coordinator: Joseph Michael (Mohan)

Assistant General Coordinator: Shone Boben

Members: Boban Mathew, Tony Chirayilkalam, Vinod Nair

The coordination team will be in liaison with all other teams and would facilitate cross team discussions and planning while also taking the lead in areas of stage management, registration, transportation, inviting resources, food, and other logistics

 

Program Coordination:

Coordinator: Roy David

Assistant Coordinator: Nirmal Thomas

Members: Mimi Pukulakkat, Rupa Mathew, Rachana Varghese

The Program coordination team will take the lead in coming up with the theme and title of the conference while also developing the structure of the program for main event and breakaway sessions for the various streams. This team would also take the lead in identifying the main resources (speakers) for the event. Music ministry would also fall under the responsibility of this team.

 

Mobilization Coordination:

Coordinator: Lijesh Pudussery

Assistant Coordinator: Aishwarya Varghese

Members: Ashak Kurian, Baby Xavier,Krupa Kuriakose.

The mobilization coordination team would be responsible for mobilizing people from churches and campuses to attend the national conference. This team would also take the lead for marketing the event.

 

Finance Coordination:

Coordinator: Biju Kannampuzha

Assistant Coordinator: Corinne Lobo

Member: Jency Mathew

The finance coordination team would be responsible for developing strategies to fund raise as well as to manage the budget for the National Conference.

Intercession Coordination:

Coordinator: Denny Kannukkadan

Assistant Coordinator: Francis D’Silva

Members: Dr. Joe Jose, Manju Francis

The intercession team will work closely with the Intercession ministry to organize intercessory prayers and vigils for the success of the National Conference.

 

Pastoral Team:

Fr. Jose Thaiparambil

Fr. Joe Selvanayagam

Fr. Jose would take the lead to provide pastoral support and guidance to the National Conference teams.

I would like to thank Mohan and Shone for undertaking this huge responsibility.

Let us all offer our prayers and FULL support to the them and the various Teams to make this event a huge success for the Movement in Canada.

The Teams will be meeting on Jan. 11th to pray and further plan the events.

I will keep all of you updated timely.
