It is time to register for JY WYD 2013. Please read the details and act accordingly

 

Please read the message below from the Co-ordinators
 
IMPORTANT :
 

Please confirm with your respective regional coordinator and pay AED 500 to secure your place at WYD 2013 before 31 Oct 2012. This money is not refundable .

 
Reason for the immediate deadline : We are getting very good ticket rates and the airline is asking us for a deposit. To avail of the awesome ticket prices you need to pay AED 500. We cannot guarantee if you would get the same rates should one pay later that the 31/10/2012.

WYD Packages:

 

Package 1 : 9850/-
Dh. 500/- at the time of registration
Dh. 1000/- before 15th of December
Rest of the amount shall be paid in instalment of Dh. 1500/- per month
Youth Arise ( during Youth arise there will be a pilgrimage to Our Lady of Aparecidi in Canas) + WYD+ JY Intl gathering
Dates : 20th - 29th July

 

Package 2 : 10850/-
Dh. 500/- at the time of registration
Dh. 1000/- before 15th of December
Rest of the amount shall be paid in installments

Mission Amazon + Youth Arise ( during Youth arise there will be a pilgrimage to Our Lady of Aparecidi in Canas) + WYD+ JY Intl gathering

Information on :

 

Youth Arise International ( YAI) and World Youth Day (WYD) : ( 20th - 29th July)

It is an international network fo nearly 45 Catholic organizations dedicated to the task of raising a generation of leaders to be apostles of charity and truth for the mission of the Church . For several years now YAI has been organizing a Youth Festival coinciding with the World Youth Days . JY pilgrims have been participating in this festival since WYD 2000. And it remains one of the most enriching and edifying experiences if the WYD pilgrimage for the whole group.
Canas : During the festival there will be a group pilgrimage to famous Marian pilgrim center - Our Lady of Aparecidi

 

JY International gathering : ( 28th - 29th July )

With so many JY coming together at Rio from different parts of the world,this is a wonderful opportunity to join together for an international gathering as a big global JY family. Such International JY gatherings have been a regular feature at several WYDs. This time it will be held from 28th evening to 29th night

 

Mission in Rio :( 30th July - 3rd Aug)

Mission in Rio will be an exposure to a tough mission for which we expect only JY. This mission is to one of the poorest and challenging colonies/ residential areas of Rio. The opportunity to spend a few days with our needy and suffering brothers and sisters will surely be a good formative experience for each JY leader and will open our eyes to recognize the Lord in the poor.

 

Mission Amazon : (13th - 19th July )

This will be a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time in the villages near the Amazon forests. days in these remote villages will be a very enriching mission experience. Only recommended for JY leaders.
