Dear All,

We start the 40 Days for Life tomorrow so I ask you to increase your prayers for a grace-filled campaign. Archbishop Bernard Longley will be joining us outside the abortion clinic 3-4pm please come and show your support if possible and to unite in prayer.

We had a very successful Kick-Off event on Sunday with quite a few newcomers signing up which is very encouraging. We reminded ourselves that abortion is the largest killer in the world, heart disease being the second. Heart disease is responsible for 8million deaths worldwide annually, abortion is responsible for 43.8million. This figure could make us feel discouraged and ask 'How can we make an impact on a figure like that?' but I like to remember the interview with Blessed Mother Teresa when a journalist rather mockingly asked her 'Do you think you can solve world poverty?', she calmly replied 'One person at a time'. So it is outside Marie Stopes in Birmingham, we pray for each individual woman or man entering or leaving the clinic whether staff or worker, God has a better plan for them all, let us help them realise that plan. Please make an effort to spread the word and see if you can make it a personal mission to attract one new person to come and join us in prayer at the clinic this Lent.
