first,i think the jxlib is the most powerful javsscript suite writen
by mootools 1.4.2
1.in ie8 explorer if attach a toolbar to a dialog .than will report a
error
2.the version3.1.1 example in ie8 explorer will report a error
3.the grid component example in ie8 explorer will report a error

in firefox and Google Chrome run success.

In all honesty I don't think the library gets a whole lot of testing in IE8. It's something I'm trying  to figure out how to fix but the primary developers work on Mac and Linux most of the time. If you can figure out the issues in IE and submit pull requests on github I'd be more than glad to look at them and incorporate them into the library.

In the meantime.... I'm going to have to figure out an easy way I can test this on IE.....

Thanks for the report.  Are you able to use a javascript debugger to get an indication of where in jxlib or mootools the error is happening?

i'a very glad to see you replys.

in fact i just decide use jxlib in my project.the reason is very
simple.jxlib is very powerful.but it think if it can support any
browser perfectly.

it's not a bad thing.:)

if you can open the below url by ie8

http://jxlib.org/reference/3.1.1/examples/grid.html

http://jxlib.org/reference/3.1.1/examples/dialog.html

you can found a error :

in line : 3282 parameter is invalid

the script code in : this.style[property] = value;

"this.style" is undefined

"property"="width"

"value"="NaN"
