Square pattern setting bug?

By default, the square pattern is "none". Once we select any other pattern, trying to set it back to " none" has no effect, the defined pattern remains. (Android 5.1). How can I get the plain default look back? Thanks.

Thanks for reporting the bug.

Currently, after changing the setting to default restarting the app via app manager (not just closing and starting it) will work.

Force-closing the app from the app manager seems to do the trick.
