[JVNMobileGIS] JVNMobileGIS v1.0.2 - The hotfix version

You may encountered crash in JVNMobileGIS v1.0.1. So sorry for that. This 1.0.2 version fixed some unexpected error and changed the way of configurations loading.

CHANGE LOG:
- Hotfix NullPointerException error which caused crashing in v1.0.1
- Fix FullScreen hangup on PPC
- Use configurations from resource bundle, not from JAD file

Step2, unfortunately on PPC i am still getting the null error on some
services!

I hope to allocate some time to this soon so i will be able to debug
more thoroughly and help you out.

DEMIS works for all requests
CIREN fails on only some GetMap requests with null error. Layerlist is
fine
Landgate fails on all GetMap requests with null error. Layerlist is
fine

This is on PPC WM6 with Esmertec JVM. I would highly recommend this
JVM over others floating around the internet.

I am about to post a lot of improvements that i will allocate to
myself if thats ok. Good work though, i am sure these will be minor
problems

I think we should develop 2 releases : one specially for https and one
for open WMS services. Therefore, we will easy to develop.
I am very busy right now but I will arrange time for all.

Im getting HTTP errors when fetching maps or updating.
Anyone looking into this allready?

Hi CathodioN,

Where did you see the error? In "Live Demo" or real device? Live Demo
has problem with HTTP Permission, but real device should be no
problem.

Im using a Nokia 6021 running 1.0.2 of JVNMobileGIS.

As soon as I select "Map Server" > "Options" > "GetCapabilities" I get
the network access question, i select "yes". It then says "Processing
please wait", and after about 1 second it says: "Sorry, there is an
error: Error in HTTP operation"

Could you maybe show some more information about exceptions, or is
this not part of your code?

Hi CathodioN,

"Error in HTTP operation" is the detailed exception message from your
phone, it is not defined in JVNMobileGIS. So it's the most detail that
I can give you.

If you can, pls get the latest version from SVN and test through
following steps:
1. Install latest version (1.0.3 - not released yet) of JVNMobileGIS
from SVN
2. Check if your network connection is working by browsing any WAP
page
3. GetCapabilities from "CIREN server"
4. What is the result?
