Good afternoon, fellow justice-seekers,

I've been asked by Joshua Ashton, a local activist who has been worshiping with us recently, to pass along an advocacy opportunity to you. Josh is a senior at Empire High School and city lead for Tucson for March for Our Lives, among other activist roles.

Attached is a document with information about five pieces of legislation, sponsored by Reps. Townsend and Finchem, that would negatively impact public education. If you are so inclined, please call the House Majority Leader, Warren Petersen, at (602) 926-4136 and ask him to not allow these bills to go to committee. The attachment provides talking points but of course incorporating your own concerns and perspective is always helpful.

I see this as a opportunity to support this young leader as well as the RedforEd movement.

Gladly.
Bart
