Save Asylum Protest Friday

Friends of Hotel San Marcos,

While the Hotel is not needed right now due to MPP (Remain in Mexico), your voice is needed to protest the policy and continue to support our brothers and sisters whose lives are in jeopardy at the border. Here is your opportunity to stand with others who are working on the issues and making plans to challenge the policy.

This protest at the Federal Building on Friday afternoon is planned by Kino Border Initiative and other concerned groups. This attached flyer gives more specific info. Please read it and pass it along to anyone you think would be interested. 

Reply to me (reply to this forwarded email), or show up to carpool from St Mark's. Let's meet in the 3rd St./Sanctuary parking lot about 4. We'll leave for the Federal Bldg at 4:15. Bring a sign if you'd like ( some suggestions: "No" to Remain in Mexico, Room for Everyone, Room at the Inn, They are Welcome Here, It’s the Law, Let Migrant Protection Happen Here, Don’t Deliver to Danger, and No Migrant Persecution Policy ).
