Pima County Justice For All has many MORE volunteer opportunities for you!!
Last weekend we were able to collect 980 signatures from: the Women's March, Rillito Farmers Market, Tumamoc Hill, Sugar Hill Resource Fair, and Reid Park's concert in the park. It was an amazing weekend and we need your help again! This weekend, Tucson Meet Yourself is expecting a crowd of 100,000 attendants for the annual culture festival. We MUST have a high number of volunteers to make this event a success because everyone who is there enjoying food, should also be inclined to sign the petition. This is the Tucson community SHOWING UP!!! for the cultural experiences and unique talents their neighbors provide to make Tucson, the community it is. We are setting a goal of 5,000 signatures this weekend with the hope and anticipation to get THREE TIMES that amount by Sunday evening. But again, WE NEED YOU HELP!
Same as last week, we are posting the volunteer schedule below. This is going to be an all day festival, please feel free to share this email wide and far with family, friends, clubs, organizations, ANYONE you can think of that has time for this cause. We need help gathering about 70,000 signatures on our Ballot Initiative to get legal help for people going through immigration court. If they can’t afford an attorney, they go to court alone. NO ONE should face the court room alone. With enough help, we could get all of our signatures in this ONE WEEKEND.
It is time to STAND with our neighbors, our friends, and the community!
