Duration of assignment (in Months) : 12 months
Position Description:
• 6+ Years embedded software development
• Programming Language: C/C++, Assembly
• Software Architecture, Design and AUTOSAR Architecture
• Development of embedded software for automotive ECUs used in active safety application including communications standards and protocols
• Hardware, schematics and expertise in Automotive Microcontrollers i.e. Freescale, Infineon and Renesas
• Change Control Management (CMM) and Software Configuration Management (SCM)
• Software Requirements Elicitation and Management Experience
• Develop and document software code packages written in C language.
• Develop specific test cases and perform unit, module and integration software testing along with required documentation
• Disciplined use of CMMI or Automotive SPICE process
• MISRA C, IEC61505 or ISO 26262 and AUTOSAR standards
Good to have skills*
• Visual Basic, PERL or other scripting languages
• Low level driver development• Use of UML tools (Rhapsody)
• Use of Doors and/or MKS Integrity Requirements Management tools
• Use of MKS Integrity VM and Defect Tracking tools
• Automotive embedded controls/software
• Driver Assistant Systems software development experience a plus

Must have skills*
1. Development of test scripts in CAPL used to exercise the ECU under EMC/Electrical validation test
2. Evaluate these test scripts and interaction with functional and EMC Applications Software provided by NA Braking
3.Testing & debugging ,work experience functional testers Functional Testing
Good to have skills*
Preferable and gives more added advantage if:
1) Hands on Experience in Automotive domain (ABS, Airbag etc.,)
2) Hands on experience in design validation testing
3) Experience/Knowledge in CAN protocol and its tools
4) Experience/Knowledge in EMI/EMC standards
