Sri Kondapalli Sehsagiri Rao garu was born 27th January 1924 in Penugonda, Mehaboobabad mandal, Warangal District. His parents are K Gopal Rao and Ramachandramma. He studied in Santhinikethan, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. His guru is Nandalal Bose. Winner of several prizes honored by veterans and conferred a doctorate by the PottiSriramulu Telugu University. His works have found a place in the state and national lalitha kala academies, Governmental Corridors and private art gallerias and several homes of art loving patrons all over the world. his murals at public places and industrial homes.
Specialization in painting nature, birds, animals, rocks, historical subjects study in Chinese and Japanese techniques application of direct brush work. innovation in water painting named " AQUA TEXTURE" specialization in Wash and Gouche medium in addition to usual water colors and oil painting.
