About Federal Funding Tracking Tool from Climate and Clean Energy Equity Fund

We’ve just released the Federal Funding Tracker, a tool that maps federal funding as it moves to states and localities, and supports grantees and partners to identify and access funds. This is the only comprehensive database mapping the massive amounts of federal funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the American Rescue Plan, and the recently passed Inflation Reduction Act (IRA.)

We partnered with grantees to inform the design of the tool, and built it to support the broader climate equity field’s efforts on implementation. The Equity Fund’s policy specialists and other staff will continue partnering with grantees to identify and advance opportunities for advocacy and implementation work, as well as challenging false solutions – including funding for harmful technologies like hydrogen gas and carbon capture. The database will be updated as federal and state funding announcements continue to become available. We are seeking additional funding support for expanding distribution and technical assistance to racial justice organizations eager to work on building power to ensure implementation of IRA and other important federal legislation advances equity and community-led solutions.
