What are the top brands of warm, winter gloves (not electric)? Please
tell me a few. The dealerships might have a very limited selection
here in not-so-cold Denver. I'm sure the snowmobile and ski shops
would have some good ones. I have noticed, however, that winter
gloves can feel toasty warm when you try them on in a shop at room
temperature. But ride 5 miles on a scoot in frigid weather, and
you're freezing your fingers off. Any advise will be appreciated.

I'm sure there's some safety reason not to use these on scooters, but my favorite gloves for winter scootering are the lobster style from PEARL IZUMI. The hands are fine with good gloves. Don't forget the long underwear.

Here in Minnesota I do use electrics (Gerbing) but there are some good
non-electrics as well. I use Tour Masters and like them:

There are also some three finger gloves out there (thumb, two fingers
in each remaining) that are also warm. I like to stick with riding
gloves because they tend to cut the wind out much better than general
winter gloves and usually have abrassion resistance as well.

Hi everyone,

I have a Buddy question.

In 2007 I bought a green Italia style Buddy 125. When the gas got low, a
little teeny tiny orange alert light came on by the E.

Now I have a new 2012 Buddy 125 (not Italia). Now, when the gas gets low, no
light comes on. The same little teeny dark 'spot' by E is still there, it
just doesn't light up on this new Buddy, like it did on the old one. I've
let the tank get really, really empty, to test it, but the light never comes
on.

I took the new Buddy in for a tune-up today, and told them the 'problem.'
They told me Buddy's have never come with a low-gas alert light, and that I
must have been seeing things.

Day or night, I used to see this light come on for a low tank!

Any thoughts or experiences with this??
I feel somewhat disoriented :)

Best,
Lesley in San Francisco

I'd suggest calling a different dealer and asking the question - I
think you're correct and that there is a low fuel warning light.
