Hello David, At Christmas '09, I bought an '09 Yamaha Zuma 125cc
scooter...The next week, I had to go to the nearest big city,
(Dothan,Al. 55 miles away.) on business. Next morning, I had issues
getting out of bed! The Zuma's seat has this weird forward tilt, that
makes it a torture device after 50 miles. A trip to the Chiropractor
fixed my back! In 40 years of riding, this is the first time a seat
has had to be replaced... Corbin Saddles is the only Company I could
find, that makes a BW/Zuma125 saddle...It was $$$ very well spent!
With nearly 6,000 miles on the saddle, it keeps getting more
comfortable, approaching Lazboy status! I've slowly modded my scooter
over nearly two years, with a Two Bro's exhaust,a set of 3.30:1
gears,a 58.5mm Ceramic cylinder kit, 10 hole injector, 28mm intake,&
throttlebody,Performance canshaft, oversized airbox to throttlebody
duct, a Simota, Zuma125 mesh, low restriction airfilter, and finally
a Forceworks fuel controller, that we're dialing the mixture in with,
as the rings slowly seat in the ceramic cylinder. I rode 150 miles
yesterday, and kept up with traffic running from 55 to 70mph....The
fuel mileage is up tp 72mpg. Gabe

There is a C3 Scooter with a GY6 engine in it, that KS Power built,
running around and several other similar setups.

Nice review on the Zuma. I got blessed, and mine is built in
Taiwan...I don't want anything made in China. More & more, I'm reading
the labels at WallyWorld, and buying everything I can that's made in
the US....It's doable, and some things are actually less expensive!
Last thursday I had a set of Michelin Boppers installed on my '09 Zuma
155cc project bike, along with a braided steel brakeline. I noticed a
night and day difference in the ride quality, and braking ability, on
the way home. Thanks for being there David, keep up the excellent
work! Ride it like you're invisible....Gabe
